Is it time to change a rule in football

I find it interesting that the first use of instant replay in this game confirmed an officials error - but they were handicapped to do anything about it. They blew another obvious fumble call on Davis in the 4th quarter (granted it didn't matter at this point) - these refs won't grad out well IMO.

The inadvertant whistle is EVERY officals worst nightmare. Don't be suprised if the Big Ten lays a fine down on these guys for doing it. They should know better than to blow the thing unless there is possible danger, injury, for the players involved in the play or forward progress has stopped completely. On the other side of that I get tired of seeing guys go running down field after the whistle has blown and show boating and being all stupid. You are taught from the first time you strap on a helmet to play until you hear a whistle, hell even in soccer they teach kids that. Go until the whistle blows once it does stop go back to the huddle and get ready for the next play.
