Game Thread Iowa at tOSU, Sat. Oct. 5, 3:30pm ET, CBS

What I wouldn’t give to see us run the bear front. Seriously Hamilton at nose flanked by McDonald and Williams? Screw an extra LB out there. Put another DL in there and own the LOS. Don’t even let them get past the LOS.
This might work. Imo the Bucks do have the best 2 safeties in the nation. So have them shooting any gaps left. The DBs should be golden in man vs these trash recievers as well.

Biggest weakness of this defense is the LBs. And that's not to say they are bad, just not great like the rest of the starters. If the light bulb comes on for Styles, this will easily be the best defense in CFB.

DBB: did you have any issues with Peacock? It was smooth for me, save for a couple of short buffering issues. I'm talking maybe 2 times for 1-2 seconds.
Thanks for asking. Yeah, it was about 1/10 as bad as last year, which means... pretty bad

It didn't start pausing (I assume to buffer) until half way through the third; but by the end of the 4th it would pause for 4 seconds, run at 4x speed for a second, then pause again.

My speed (ookla) was 400MB/S throughout. For every other streaming service, that is plenty.

YouTube TV streams either 4K or Multiview without issues (there was an issue with multiview at the beginning of the season, which googles tech support resolved in about an hour)

Perhaps it depends on the ISP. I live in a very small town that has a very low priority when it comes to utilities. As I type this, I am running on generator power because SoCal Edison has been kind enough to provide me with yet another "maintenance outage", so it's not just the cable company/ISP that suck around here.

Interesting...

I didn't have an issue here in Ohio at all with Spectrum internet. Peacock streaming (over wifi no less), plus my tablet having the UGA/Bama game, my son streaming his Siege 6 game on the PS5....everything was working fine....

Huh... Yeah I was streaming UGA/Bama on my tablet too. No issues with that. Just with Peacock.

Another variable that I should mention: I have an LG smart TV and (this year) used their Peacock app. I have noticed that LG's software is not great, so I can't rule them out as the culprit. Though last year I tried to watch the Purdue game on my iPad and it was so bad I gave up
