Not before he is spotted to the tune of 28 points.

Tech did get 7 back on their last drive, but with 39 seconds left in the half the Gophers are a short three yards from racking up that 4 TD lead once again.

Which they get with Cupito throwing across his body to the lar left of the endzone.

Wonder if Leach will reconsider his Coaches Poll comments in the locker room at half time?
One other note - Simmons is doing his best to demonstrate that Spaeth is merely a product of a system. Tech has next to no answer for the Gopher running game and Simmons as the back up Tight End has racked up 101 yards and a Touchdown.
