Truthfully, we were lucky to win game 2
The Red Sox are a much better team and at least they have balls
Their pitchers weren't afraid to throw strikes and they mostly pounded the strike zone
Out 2 best pitchers decided to pick at the plate and refused to throw into the zone unless the count was 2-0 or 3-0
We pussied out when it counted most, and tried to con the other team into taking bad hacks while the Red Sox dared us to hit it
Manny and David punished us for falling behind in counts while Travis Hafner has struck out 10 of 16 at bats.
We sucked when it counted, and relied on them to play bad baseball when we won our games.....they just decided to play good baseball and embarrassed us in the process in the last 3 games

Travis Hafner was terrible... but Joe Buck just reminded me that the team was outscored 30-5 over the last 29 innings.
You can't win a slow -pitch, over-80 woman's softball league tourney with those numbers, let alone the AL Pennant

The bullpen was for the most part solid.
Skinner needs a stern talking to. That play with Lofton could have changed the momentum greatly. He was coaching like there were still games to be played.
