No recollection of how the scoring went down in that one, I just recall a general sense that they never had a game that was in much doubt.

We know the NC game was a brutal ass raping don't we Gator? :tongue2:

I think Florida is STILL trying to tackle Tommie Frazier...

No kidding. But it made the Ball Coach hire Stoops....which led to our first MNC the next year. So I consider it an ass-beating with a silver lining. Much like Bama in 2005, which led to better days ahead. I can only hope that 2011 is better for us, given the plunger rape that was Saturday.

Bucknuts sounds like Gatorcountry. It took less than five minutes for the site to have articles about how we "beat ourselves" in Alabama. WTF???????

I can only hope Saban uses his third MNC to get some idiot NFL owner to bite again on a package that will take Nick through retirement (the Fins being an aberration :p).

This is a perfect matchup for OSU in several key areas. First, Indiana's offense is one-dimensional. Outside of the past two seasons against scUM, they've made no noise on the ground. This allows the Silver Bullets to pin their ears back and go after Chappell. Second, the IU offensive line is pretty awful. Even without blitzing, I expect that our front four will get significant pressure. As already stated, Rolle could have a big game. We'll feel the loss of Moeller, though. My main concern is that IU will throw a lot of short timing routes to beat the pressure, keeping the chains moving. Doss is an excellent receiver and runs good routes, so life is going to be tough on our corners. IU also liked that five wide set a lot against scUM, and I expect that we'll see more of it.

On D, even if Pryor is hurt and can't go, or if Tressel decides to stay on the ground, I just don't see IU slowing down anyone's running game. I know that people aren't high on Saine right now, but if there were a time when we could get multiple backs going, change of pace, carries for Hall, etc. this would be the game. With 40+ carries and presumably none/few going to Pryor, Hall might have a chance to make some noise. That's the "worse case". Best case, Pryor is healthy and back in form and able to make his throws, in which case, this game gets ugly for IU's defense. They don't cover well, don't tackle well, don't get much pressure and didn't appear to be particularly fast against scUM. Even with a repeat of the "off day" against Illinois, I don't see IU holding last week's Buckeyes under 30. I also don't think we'll see last week's Buckeyes.

OSU 38, IU 10

The weather forecast for Saturday is for Sun and a temperature in the mid 70s.

If TP is healthy enough to go: Ohio State 45 - Indiana 10

If TP is hampered and/or held out of the game: Ohio State 31 - Indiana 3

Indiana did pretty well last year against us through the air, and I think as long as we play mistake free football it doesn't really matter wether Pryor plays or not.

Honestly I'd rather him sit out and be ready for Wisconsin, but thats only if Guiton is the starter.

I hope the forecast holds ZERO injuries for this week's game as well... :(

I'd like to see Guiton run the offense just as it would be run under Pryor, if Pryor is out. It would similar to what Michigan did to them this past weekend...IU got some stops but also gave up a lot of big plays.

Me too...and Berry and Hall...

Sounds pretty good to me. 42-10 and 31-10 respectively.

Too bad about Moeller, he could have made a big difference in this game. Good opportunity for Bryant though, he'll have plenty of chances to make some plays. With Chapell throwing 64 times against Michigan and completing I believe 48, thats a ton of chances to get a pick, force a fumble or make a tackle.

Is it gameday yet?

GO BUCKS!
