10. Indiana Hoosiers
Predicted Finish
4-8 (0-8)
Two-Cent Overview
An offense that returns a ton of high-quality skill led by a fifth-year quarterback, perhaps the best receiving corps in the conference and the most talented Hoosier running back in nearly a decade. Coupled with a defense that is replacing seven starters, but is doing it with experience and potential.

The problem with that is that Indiana has the potential to really score some points. I don't think we'll get away with sitting on 14-10 lead in this one. Indiana's ability to throw the ball down field with a good, experienced QB and some very nice receivers have me quite nervous. Our secondary will be tested in this one and IMO, our offense will need to score more points than last week.

1. With regards to Chapell, he has been fantastic this season, especially yesterday. However, OSU will not be in a 3-3-5 all game and allow him 7-10 seconds per play. B-rolle and Homan will help the line get pressure on Chapell, and he has yet to face consistent pressure.
2. As usual, the Bucks need to ensure that there are no big plays. Without those 20+ yard plays, IU has no chance.
3. With TP apparently being at least slowed, the point has been made to expect a bunch of Tresselball. With Wisky next week, I expect the coaching staff to protect him, thus leading to a lot of opportunities for Boom. TP will do enough to get the lead and get IU demoralized early, but then I expect Tress to slow it way down. This is assuming the run game is at least halfway effective.
4. I don't think we should read much into the "closeness" of the Illinois game, for several reasons. A) This is at home. B) This is IU. We own IU. C) Every year there will be games like this past weekend. First road game, conference game, team that plays us close often. QB gets hurt early in the second half, otherwise it could have been a blowout. TP stays in the game, that could be 14-21 more points on the board. D)The defense really stepped up after a bad first quarter, and they will be HUNGRY against IU.
5. Its worth noting that IU is terrible against the run. I think if IU was a "solid" opponent, meaning well rounded, Tress would allow TP to play his usual self. But, against a terrible defense like IU has, we should be able to easily win without TP being spectacular.
Granted, all of this is on Sunday, a lot can change in 6 days. TP's leg could be worse, anything. These are just my "quick thoughts" after the weekend.
GO BUCKS!!!!
