In this year 2020, any football is a blessing so it's imperative to maintain that perspective no matter how infuriating. At this point, maybe the expectations should be set at winning the B1G, which may sound defeatist, but is appearing to be the reality with each passing week. That's not to say the defense, namely the secondary, cannot eventually get the job done, but I just cannot fathom a group that has Marcus Hooker as the deep Safety (among other personnel) having ANY chance against a Clemson or Alabama.

Chill the fuck out people. This is game FOUR, I repeat game FOUR! If this were a normal year we would understand that these players are young and they need game reps. Are there issue? Hell yes, but I am not ready to shit all over Kerry Combs when he has had only four games with these players.

We saw what they *could* be....and then we saw what they are.

In the past, especially under UFM (other than 2018) and Tressel, thats been a good thing because usually they improve. This group seems to be moving in the other direction.

Well, Ohio State beats those teams damn near every time they play and it’ll be no different this year. Best Wisconsin twice in the same year last year... strengths didn’t do them any good, because at the end of the day Ohio State still has a much better staff and players.

I don't necessarily think Coombs is the problem. The problem is that Chase Young, Damon Arnette, Jeff Okudah, and Jordan Fuller aren't on the team this year and their replacements just aren't as good.

This is exactly the response I typically got in 2018. Use some common fucking sense. This is 3 games in a row of 1st half domination but 2nd half melt down.
