The good thing for us is that there aren't many teams that can play defense in the Big Ten. Ohio St, Penn St, and Iowa are about the only ones that can.
There's a better angle of the interception at that link. It's still not conclusive by any stretch but it does help to somewhat justify the call on the field.
I hope scUM fans understand this is the product they'll be getting for some time.
Many spoke of RR's lack of attention for defensive philosophy - and yesterday gave some highlights. I still saw horrible tackling and poor angles to the ball.
I seriously hope those guys don't think they'll be able to keep winning games giving up 30+ points to every mediocre team they face.

I was impressed when they hung in and beat Notre Dame... then I watched ND get two "miracle wins" against the middle of the Big Ten. Conclusions? 1. The Big 10 is really down this year and Notre Dame is a mid level Big 10 team. 2. Michigan is dangerous on one side of the ball. Watching that kid from IU go 80 yards on them was like watching the last 2 Beanie shows. 3. If they can get OSU into a shoot out, and the spread is going to cause some problems for any defense, they could pull off the upset.
I want to publicly give Zwem props for manning up and simply calling the call bullshit, as it was. It's not as if saying "yeah, it was a crap call" is going to change the fact it's still and INT and a Mich win. No sense in defending it.
I have trouble believing you're not a moron, in as much as you root for those guys, but you prove not to be time and time again. Good show, Zwem....
