People here aren't as excited about being in the sec as they are about teams like lsu and alabama potentially playing in Columbia. I have a hard enough time finding interest in mizzou athletics when they're good, let alone a doormat.

I'm not focusing on the benefits for the conference as I don't give a hot damn about the SEC. I'm talking about the impending misery (heh, mizzery) of Mizzou fans as they watch their football program decend into the depths of their new conference. Their chanting "S-E-C, S-E-C" is silly to me unless they're simply looking to glom on to other team's success in the future like the rest of 'em...because they sure as [Mark May] aren't going to have any of their own.

This is true, but, that novelty will wear off when they're consistently getting trounced by that SEC speed!!!!!!!11!!!1!!
