Guilford originally planned to announce his commitment on June 27, less than a week after concluding his official visit to Ohio State, but postponed his decision after a late push in his recruitment by Ole Miss. Three weeks later, however, Guilford decided he was ready to give his pledge to the Buckeyes.

“They say it’s Wide Receiver U for a reason. Stats don't lie,” Guilford told Eleven Warriors after camping at Ohio State in June. “People lie, girls lie, everybody lies, but the numbers don't lie.”.....8D

Gotta an idea. Let Hartline recruit 30 guys a year (yes, all WRs). Then maybe tOSU wins the mythical recruiting challenge. Then, as they attrit (word?), then bring in OL/DL/CB etc to make a team.....just kidding folks.

Latest news around Ohio State Buckeyes’ newest commitment shows how badly he wants to play in Columbus

Ohio State’s latest commitment took less money—and for a good reason

Ohio State consistently lands its top wide receiver targets, and much of that success is thanks to Brian Hartline. Widely regarded as the best wide receiver developer in college football, Hartline continues to send players to the NFL, many in the first round.

Sources tell me that Guilford took significantly less of an NIL deal to be developed at Ohio State by Brian Hartline.

Just sayin': You have to really like this guy......8D
