ESPN - Hart's childhood favorite comes calling

Greg Hart (Kettering, Ohio/Archbishop Alter) grew up a Miami (FL) fan, and the Hurricanes are no stranger to producing elite tight ends. Hart is not thinking that far ahead, but he could be next in line.

Miami has not offered Hart, but the Hurricanes staff has started showing interest in the 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior.

?I kind of grew up a Miami fan. It?s actually really cool to be in contact with them now,? Hart said. ?I know it?s a good program, and they?ve put a lot of people in the league. I still need to see it and everything.?

I just realized that Jerome is the son of the" Jerome Lane" of ASVM, Pitt, and NBA fame. For his size right up there with Barkley as one of the best rebounders the NBA has seen. One of the worst FT shooters the league has seen as well. That ultimately cost him from having much career longevity. I now know where the athletic ability comes from with Jerome Jr.
