In case you cared what grinds OhioState001's gears

The kids surely don't care that people waved at them for a few seconds. I'm sure they forget 30 minutes later.
agreed. just listen to this 12-year-old liar with lung cancer:

"It makes you feel really important, and that's just (an) awesome expression when you're in the hospital and sick. It makes you feel a lot better.

and here he continues spouting his agenda about how much the "meaningful" wave and the resulting attention means to him:

that damn kaden kelso, stricken with cancer, is such a piece of shit for spouting lies about the kinnick wave. sad!

:hoke:

Don't really want to debate it more but what do you think kids are gonna say when you stick a camera in their face and pretty much force them to answer. The one kid in the ESPN video was like "yea I guess it makes the days go by faster". not really a ringing endorsement

agreed. the only rational explanation for a cancer-stricken child smiling and being happy on camera is that he isn't telling the truth. i know my brother, diagnosed with bone cancer that ended up taking his life 17 years ago, was a pathetic liar when showing happiness in response to the small positive things during otherwise bleak and painful days.

going to be the jerk who quotes himself...

a refresher for those who think they're justified for questioning ward:

may 2016:

Denzel's father passed away unexpectedly last night....thoughts and prayers with the Ward family. RIP.

nobody here has walked in ward's shoes. nobody here knows if something that weighs heavily on denzel's mind is making 100% sure that his mom is taken care of for the rest of her life.

for those who hint at ward or players like ward being selfish, shut your freakin' piehole and get over yourself. these players owe you nothing. not a damn thing.

maybe next time those who criticize buckeyes as players should first spend a little time understanding those buckeyes as people.

apparently. then again, ward was obviously guaranteed to be able to pay for his mother's mortgage (and take care of her and his family for the rest of their lives) even if he played in the bowl game. after all, one game never hurt ryan shazier, eric lagrand, mike utley, tyson gentry, kevin everett, adam taliaferro, tyrone prothro, joe theismann, etc.

Yeah, well Tyson Gentry got hurt in a practice, so your entire point is invalid. /s
