After many coaches and millions of dollars in salaries, am I the only one who knows why the University of Illinois' major sports programs continue on a downard slide?

Chief Illiniwek, who was forced out, was so much more than an honored symbol.

No John Groce, no Bruce Weber, no Bill Self, no Ron Zook, no Tim Beckman and no one else can ever do what the Chief Illiniwek did.
