It will be a tough task no doubt. Beckman strikes me as the type of loves breaking down obstacles though (Like me), so I think they'll be fine in the end.

Again, people continue to say "average" teams like it's a true statement. And the term "blown out" is also inaccurate considering how the games went. I'm not going to keep discussing it because it speaks for itself:


LA Tech (Senior led team with more talent than people realize, especially offensively) - 4-0

ASU (Very talented team especially at the skill spots) 3-1

PSU (Very talented even with deflections especially defensively. Depth is a problem but starters arent') 3-2 with one loss coming to a good Ohio team in game 1, another very close loss coming to Virginia in a game where the FG kicker missed 3 (4?) FG's including the game winner. That Virginia team also lost to LA Tech yesterday.

It's pretty simple actually. They've played good teams and they have made mistakes. They've also been hurt, but again I'm not going to keep talking about it. Recruits know what it is. That's all that matters.

One poster even brought out comparisons to Bahgdad Bob earlier in the thread.

He has to be the biggest troll on that board. Even the diehards don't fart sunshine like ThaKid does. I mean every person they get in on "should be a 5* but the sites have agendas" according to this guy.

I saw this kid on film a while ago and was really hoping they offered/got him. I didn't even know about the speed. That is a HUGE plus. I was convinced Beckman is very similar to Zook in recruiting...the only part I was interested to see was if he finds the under the radar gems like Zook. He has already been doing it so far but this shows me even more...yeah it's about to get serious soon. You can't teach 6'5 with his frame and speed. DL, TE, it doesn't matter where you put this kid because he will be a STUD. Also like the fact that they continue to stick it to Michigan/MSU. I know they didn't offer but a good player with a lot of potential is a good player with a lot of potential (And you know I'm not a rankings guy anyway). I like this pickup a lot.

Pretty amazing that every other college program on Planet Earth didn't see fit to offer him....yea baby we are back!
