Funny you say that. He's averaging over 20 ppg in the last 5 and "in a slump." :phopefully ET can get out of his slump and we pull this one out.

Go Bucks!

Nearly every time ET takes a step towards the basket, every defender on his side leaves their man to collapse on him. IMO, he needs to make quicker decisions to kick it back out. By the time he's within 10' of the hoop, there are 3 guys on him, and it becomes a question of whether he can get a good enough look to draw a foul before he gets stripped. As I've said before, I think ET is a talented and smart enough player that it's usually best to leave him to his own devices, but it's time for him to step up his game. It's hard to produce when you're the marked man, but he's got to realize that what worked so well early in the season may not be there all the time.

Many times it looks as if the players have marks on the floor where they are supposed to wait until somebody else makes something happen. I would love to see a lot more motion away from the ball....
Likewise, it would be nice to see our shooters get the ball in the 10' or less range. ET, WB, and JD can hit those mid rangers all day if they manage to get the ball clean with a couple feet of space....
We have the talent to execute, but I wonder why the coaches don't open it up more.

The 2 or 3 missed defensive rebounds due to poor positioning, and the 2 or 3 turnovers due to lack of concentration. When we do the little things we win, because we are that good (like you say). When we don't, we lose because we aren't THAT good.
