First post here gentlemen and excited to talk amongst my fellow brethren! Suffice to say this season has been quite exciting..You almost can't script the run we've had thus far...whether it be our close wins out of conf. (save Miami)or our hard fought battles in conf. (save NEB 2nd quarter)..it's been amazing to be on our end! Now for Illinois, a team I believe as others have said, we should handle quite well. Albeit we've certainly struggled against them at times (you know when). I don't see this game as a complete blowout though, as some have mentioned. As a former player for both Urban Meyer & Tim Beckman (my head coach & DC @ BGSU)I know the relationship these two men have and i don't think coach Meyer rubs it in, even when he can. I think we come out firing on all cylinders, Off/Def/ST..up 31-10 by the 3rdQ and we run Hyde/Smith like craze..not gonna take it to 70pts basically..

I see tOSU-38
Ilini-13

Just a hunch though..

I have to say I'm surprised by the predictions here.

If this season has taught us anything it's that the Buckeyes D just isn't up to par. I see a close game with the Buckeyes winning but I can't come up with a score.

If Scheelhause can get going then it could be another shoot out.

I would love nothing more than to see a beat down, but this team just doesn't have it in them this season.

This is good game to let some guys with dings get a bit of rest before the big game with bye.

I'd like to see Ohio State enter the fourth quarter up 42-7, then let Kenny and the 2's on both sides of the ball close it out for 56-17.

Defense allowed 17 points against PSU
Defense allowed 14 points against Purdue (and one on the first play of the game before the defense figured out their game plan)

I'd say they're starting to figure things out.
