[censored] scUM.

Go Hoosiers.

Even if it means Ohio State misses out on a Big Ten title?

Hating one's rival more than loving one's own program is very, very aggy.

I honestly have no problem with the intentional...seen that called a lot when someone has a wide open layup and they just get wrapped up like that, they'll call that a lot

Except he swatted the ball. He didn't just grab him from behind. Yes he was beat and yes it was intentional but it was the intentional hard foul across the arms after the ball to make him earn it from the Free Throw line instead of getting a free two points. It is practically universally lauded as a great play when it happens too. It happens a lot and is almost never called intentional. If you are going to call that intional you have to call the shove in the back no play on the ball made attemps at the end of the game intentional everytime.

If it had not happened right in front of the Illinois bench, it would have just been called a regular foul. I think all of us have seen fouls much more intentional then that one.

On another note, our bigs have to start playing better or we will not go very far in the postseason. I know it is late but they just don't seem to be getting any better. Our small lineup is almost better and I would not be surprised to see a little more in the Big Ten tournament.

I guess 12:30 on Sundays is not a good time to start a basketball game. The crowd never seem to get into the game.

Yeah and that's what bugs me about it. Instead of going to look at the monitor and make a rational decision they let the coach and players screaming at them influence their call. Also Lenezelles T was weak unless he literally said you suck at your job especially compaired to the demenstration Edgwu did after his secodn foul.

The last point I think was a mixture of it being an early start and the students being on spring break.

Kind of an uninspired effort today--some lazy turnovers, missed FTs, etc. Seemed like Illinois had no business being in the game, and yet they always were within 8-10. Maybe a product of students being out on Spring Break (and the Schott being dead, again), maybe hard to keep your intensity when you're winning the whole game as the Bucks were, just not sure.

That said, locking down the #2 seed in the BTT this year is a heck of an accomplishment. Great job, guys. :osu:

Yep.

It was a dumb play by Ravenel. Anytime you go that hard at someone you run the risk of a flagrant AND his team was up 12 points. A defender got beat and Ravenel gave terrible help defense. Give up the two points and don't compound the error.

My thoughts exactly. The referee was not the one who blew that play.
