2024 IL DL Justin Scott (Ohio State Decommit, Miami, FL Verbal)

LJ sr. may as well start packing his bags.

I'm no LJ SR defender but I don't think there's much he can do when a school like Miami who throws NIL money around like crazy just comes in with a offer that can't be beat.

At least we didn't lose him to like Bama or UGA. It still sucks but whatever. Get Amaris Williams to flip and that lessens the blow of this.

Not really my point. It had been time for a move in that area for a bit, there is really no reason not to do it now.

If you're going to start firing coaches because of the decisions of 17 year olds in the NIL era you won't have good coaches for long.
He is 71 years old. The transition has been a discussion point for years now. Not firing, as much as changing his role within the Buckeyes. This is not a new issue by any means, and it has been floated about for a couple years now.

Telling you if I was these big programs…. I’d go get the local kids first pre season, analyze the season to determine my needs, and then come in hot after the season for holes on the roster.

How many times is this going to happen at the last moment for the DL?

Sure NIL may have had something to do with it, but now other than Houston, Day may have the ability to move in a different direction.

He wants to play right away and doesn't want to compete for the playing time. Cryami can offer that, Ohio State likely can't and won't just give it to him. There's a reason Ohio State is going 11-1 every year and Cryami is a mediocre program playing in front of 40 people....

Idk.... he would probably get early playing time at OSU because of our losses this season in the middle.
