If you could recommend one obscure CD

Sorry this is off-topic but I just ran across this and this guy is incredible.

Amazing guitar work.
Very cool. The first thing I thought when I heard the music and saw his technique was Michael Hedges, so I went over to Amazon and did a search for Andy McKee, and sure enough, the main review (by guitar instructor Don Ross, no less) compares him to Hedges.

I'm going to have to order that CD ... I love New Age/acoustic instrumental stuff.

Can't recommend just one!

The Weepies - Say I Am You
Patty Griffin - Impossible Dream
Antje Duvekot - Little Peppermints
Meg Hutchinson - The Crossing
Deb Talan - A Bird Flies Out
Girlyman - Little Star
The Be Good Tanyas - Blue Horse
Sylvie Lewis - Tangos and Tantrums
Amos Lee - Amos Lee
Willie Nelson - Teatro
Bruce Springsteen - The Ghost of Tom Joad
Calobo - Live at the Crystal Ballroom
Guster - Parachute
Jorma Kaukonen - Blue Country Heart
Richard Shindell - Vuelta
Mike Doughty - Haughty Melodic
Amadou & Mariam - Dimanche a Bamako
ThaMuseMeant - Silver Seed

(I don't know if I would consider "Pink Moon" obscure, but it is an amazing album.)

 When I put "one" in the title, you were the reason why..

The "What song are you listening to..." thread is a list of your obscure stuff.

Swervedriver: Mezcal Head.

I listened to Nirvana, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, The Toadies etc etc through the 90s. Mezcal Head was one album I'd always wanted, but could never find. I finally tracked it down and bought it on eBay for over $20 two years ago.

It is the best album released in the past 15 years, IMHO. Blows everything else released in the 90s out of the water.

I'm going on year three and it has not left my CD player in my car since the day I got it.

Couldn't find this one but I'm currently listening to "Raise" by them right now. Pretty good stuff - I had not heard them before. Another good CD in the same "Shoegazing" style/genre is Catherine Wheel's "Chrome".
