If you could recommend one obscure CD

Not sure how obscure this is, but "Relayer" by Yes is outstanding in my book. Certainly a departure from the Yes songs that get a lot of radio-play, but a lot more interesting. "Gates of Delirium" is tremendous.

Holy shit. I knew Yes sold at least two copies of Relayer ... you must have bought the other one!

One of my favorites, and the Roger Dean album art kicks ass too.

Dana Dane is a good call...man what a flashback...and The Hold Steady are scary good...but The Replacments are the one band that coulda, shoulda been HUGE IMO.

Couldn't find this one but I'm currently listening to "Raise" by them right now. Pretty good stuff - I had not heard them before. Another good CD in the same "Shoegazing" style/genre is Catherine Wheel's "Chrome".

Catherine Wheel was an awesome band- I love 'em. "Happy Days" is another one of their good CDs. Too bad they broke up....
