IF Michigan stays putrid, how long will it......

Maybe if you posted an intelligent topic.

Then why did you read it and bother to respond?

What's wrong with responding? He was simply pointing out the answers that you were so dissapointed in were based on the stupidity of your original topic, therefore inherently destined to carry some stain of that tragedy. Illuminating this flaw in your logic doesn't validate your original topic anymore than our arrival at The Shoe or the Whore House validates that sorry excuse for a football team lining up in hopes of just not being embarrassed.

Most of us lived through the Cooper years. F*ck Michigan. In every concievable way. I for one, would like them to be undefeated every year when we beat them 100 times in a row. Not for conference strength. Not for the sake of the rivalry. For nothing other than the sweet joy in ruining their entire [censored]ing season.

Go Bucks!

Edit: I apologize if that's a bit harsh, but come on. The last comment struck me as a little juvenile, and I will not be out juveniled

2nd Edit: F*cking F*uck those F*uckers.

Bob, if you want an intelligent debate, then ask an intelligent question. No offense, but this issue has been beat to death on this board for the six years I've been around BP.

Let me put it succinctly. The Ohio State University football team does not need M*ch*g*n to be good to validate Buckeye greatness. Period.

Name one great college footbal team in recent history that truly "needed" their rival to be good in order to legitimize their greatness.

The two most important things in college football is to win your conference and beat your rival. If tOSU beats M*ch*g*n the next 100 times, it would not diminish the rivalry. Those pinheads up north are still yapping about beating our asses in the leather helmet era. Fuck 'em.

Exactly, UCLA has sucked in the 2000's and I don't think it has affected USC's success at all. For the most part, aTm has not been near the level of Texas over the Young/McCoy era. There are other examples. Fuck 'em is right.

Better be careful, boys. Better hope the Bucks can score 68 on Michigan! lol!! Of course, you may lay 70 or 80 on UM but wait 'til their defense gets straightened around and I'm sure you'll find even more four letters words to describe your feelings.

I was raised to not curse; especially to strangers but I guess those days are gone forever. I think I'm out of my element and I'm sure you feel I am, too.

Point 1. I think we can realistically score 60 on scUM.

Point 2. If you are a Buckeye fan you aren't a stranger you are a brother. If you are a scUM fan then you aren't a stranger... we know tons about you which allow the luxury of naming you correctly. A FUCKER!

Obviously...

The day anyone scores 60 points on OSU in a game is the day we are at the level of a Dick Rod coached Michigan team. That will never happen, because the OSU administration will never hire a gimmick coach to try to win at a storied program. You've obviously come over to stir the pot today. I get it....and am not one who gets stirred up as easily as others on the board. In fact, I get the point you were originally trying to make, because I agree with it to some extent. As much as everyone on here exudes that the rivalry is the same as it was in 2006.....well, I just have to disagree.

Every super hero needs a villain. It makes the plot that much better You all can argue, but Wisconsin is our villain this year, not Michigan. It's like the rival in grade school changing his fighting technique (to beat you) which ends up messing up his shoulder. So, you beat his ass year after year......bad shoulder and all. You watch him scrap over and over knowing that he probably should get it operated on....though knowing it probably would make him stronger. Part of you wants to continue to see him struggle with that shoulder....but the other part wants to see him have it operated on. So when it fully heals, you can beat his ass with no excuses......

Good post. However, I did NOT come over here to stir the pot. I thought I had a legitimate question since it's NOT much of a rivalry lately. However, most everyone just wants to outdo the other with filthy language and since that's the case, shoot, I'm too old to argue with people with closed minds and hate in their hearts. God bless.
