Has anyone kept track of the ranking? It doesn't seem right that only one Buckeye has been mentioned. And to make it worse there are two scUM players.

No. 06 Jim Thorpe
No. 07 Tony Dorsett
No. 08 Bo Jackson
No. 09 Roger Staubach
No. 10 Vince Young
No. 11 Charles Woodson
No. 12 Earl Campbell
No. 13 Glenn Davis
No. 14 Hugh Green
No. 15 John Elway
No. 16 Tom Harmon
No. 17 Bronco Nagurski
No. 18 Jim Brown
No. 19 Dick Butkus
No. 20 Charley Trippi
No. 21 Archie Griffin
No. 22 George Gipp

It's fine with me that only one Ohio State player is likely to be on the list. I mean, we are talking about the 25 best from ALL universities over ALL time.

However, I have a real problem with Archie Griffin at 21 and Charles Freaking Woodson at 11 when it's very questionable whether he should even be on this list, let alone being mentioned as the 11th best college player of all time.

These lists are a joke. Vince Young at #10? He had ONE great college season.

That's where it lost all credibility.

If Buckeye Nation deemed it incredible at #21, the rest of the nation had to do have a similar reaction when Jim Brown only netted #18.

I don't know what Bush, Young, and Woodson are doing on there either. 1 good season doesn't make you one of the best players of all-time.

I don't have a problem with Bush and Young being on there. I mean Young was one of the most dominating college players i've ever seen, and IMO, I think that Bush should be higher up. In college, atleast, he was flat out insane.

Archie, and Jim Brown definitely should be Top 10 without question, though.

Who gets #1 now?

You're entitled to your opinion but I have to point out that Bush played behind some of the most dominant o-lines in recent history. Mike Bellotti even said the '05 USC o-line was the best he'd ever seen.

And Young wasn't being mentioned as one of the greatest players of all-time until that NC game. Yes, it was a tremendous performance but that USC D was very, very mediocre. Maybe some of you will remember that Fresno game in which they gave up 42 points on their home turf. Young would definitely be in my top 50 and somewhere around the top 30 but not in the top 10. No way.
