I miss The Superstars challenges that pitted the great athletes of different sports against each other. I loved to watch Willie Gault tear the obstacle course up.

I miss Bobby Knight in the Big 10.

I miss games in St. John arena.

I miss watching 18 & 19 year-olds playing college basketball instead of most of them being overmatched in the pros.

I miss Mel Allen doing This Week in Baseball.

I miss the Big 2 and the Little 8.

I miss the 10-year war.

I miss watching Archie get 100 yards every week.

I miss watching tOSU go to 4 straight Rose Bowls.

I miss:

When kids played sports outside in the backyard, and not on X-Box.
When losing a game meant that you lost, and wasn't covered up by some PC "you're ok, I'm ok" crap.
When my OSU student season ticket for football cost $40.
When tradition meant more than sponsorship money.
When high school sports weren't televised.
When Nikes were Nikes and Reeboks were Reeboks, not Jordans or Iversons, or whatever the hell they are now.
