Circumcision Ban to Appear on San Francisco Ballot

SAN FRANCISCO?A group seeking to ban the circumcision of male children in San Francisco has succeeded in getting their controversial measure on the November ballot, meaning voters will be asked to weigh in on what until now has been a private family matter.

City elections officials confirmed Wednesday that the initiative had received enough signatures to appear on the ballot, getting more than 7,700 valid signatures from city residents. Initiatives must receive at least 7,168 signatures to qualify.

If the measure passes, circumcision would be prohibited among males under the age of 18. The practice would become a misdemeanor offense punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 or up to one year in jail. There would be no religious exemptions.

Well, according to a few female friends, students of foreign extraction were always in high demand due to the novelty of the little khaki turtleneck; and the experiences of some of my male foreign friends who have visited the US tend to back up those claims.

Conversely, being snipped in Sweden led to numerous requests by members of the female species to examine the 'exotic' snipped specimen.

Personally surprised looks looks loses out to increased opportunities to have my manhood fondled by da ladies every time.

Not exactly, but it's an interesting place to live. I lived there for two years during the height of the dot-com boom. Hell of a fun time. If you can arrange your life in such a way, I highly recommend the experience.

I've never lived there but I spent some time there. It is kind of a neat town. I found that if you met some who seemed normal they usually lived in Marin County, not the city.
