I have considered it, but....

BinMich is hopin some dumb ass bus driver tries to duck tape one of his little terrorists... the other one will jump the driver... and both the boys will duct tape his ass to the seat so tight... knives won't be able to help

And they'll be driving the bus... one on the pedals.. other on the steering wheel

I realize there is a line that was crossed but we do not know all the circumstances. All I can say is behavior like this is why both of my children are in private school now and are driven to and from school by my wife. At our school behavior that would result in duct tape would never be allowed to progress that far. That kid would have been kicked out a long time ago.

We have a lot of teachers here and I think some may agree with me that our public schools are becoming a feeder system for the prison system. I blame the parents more than I blame the kids. That being said if the kids do not learn what is proper behavior now we will have lost the battle at a later time on issues more important.

Not anymore. One asked tonight for a new brother. Of course, maybe they are plotting to overthrow their parents by shear numbers?

did you inquire about the word 'new' ...
like in, does he want ANOTHER...
or just a replacement for the 'existing' brother ?!?!
I think you need a third... and a fourth...

Kids get away with too much now a days. But, duct tape has it's uses.
I had a friend whose teenage daughter called the cops on him for locking her in her room as punishment.
That went over well!
Apparently, she was told in high school that you should call the cops if your getting"abused".

Just a replacement. He tried to blame his little brother for something and when I called him on it he said he did not want to play with his brother anymore and wanted a new one. He's going to be one disappointed kid on Christmas morning.

This is actually a very serious issue. The government has been slowly stripping individuals of their rights for years now, and this will be one of the next ones to go. Our public education institutions are, in fact, instructing our children to call the cops when/if they feel they are being abused. Now, tell me...what 12 year old doesn't think he/she is being abused when he/she is actually being punished? And what the fuck gives anyone the right to tell my kid to call the cops on me? Give me a break...

Now, I know there are plenty of abusive parents out there - but if a kid's parent is truly abusive, the kid is gonna be too damn scared to call the cops. So what we end up with is a bunch of wasted time, and probably more than a few arrests of parents that are only doing what they should be doing - actually punishing their child.
