I looked at it the opposite way...the weren't even any people who were looking at each other like "WTF is this crap???" so the audience is just as bad...

The worst thing is the song is freaking awful, and yet catchy. I actually get it stuck in my head. Now I know why people turn to drugs. I need something to destroy all remnants of that awful song in my head.
