Not to hijack the thread, but check out the ethnicity chart with my high school, 7-12, with more than twice the enrollment of ridgemont. My four years of high school (92-95), there was ONE black student. She happened to be a very good friend of mine and holds school records in three different sports.

I graduated from Fitch in 1975, and in my freshman year we didn't have single black kid in the entire school, despite an enrollment of 2,500+. Kind of weird considering Austintown borders with Youngstown, which even then had a fairly large black population. By my senior year, we had three blacks in the school, with none in my graduating class (we did have three Asian-looking kids, though ).

i graduated with 86. i leave that out of the conversation when i tell people i graduated 27th in my class.
