Wow. What a night last night.

It was so bad, NBC4 had both Jym Ganahl and Ben Gelber in the studio at 12:30am commenting on the radar at the same time. Crazy shit. I cannot believe NBC4 took that risk by allowing Ganahl and Gelber to congregate in one location during such severe weather. That's like letting the President and Vice President fly on the same airplane. If something happened, we'd all be fucked.

Hopefully, next time, NBC4 gets their shit together and skirts one of either Ganahl or Gelber off to a safe location while the other is on air, so that we have a backup in case of the worst. Allowing those two to be in the same room at the same time during such a storm seemed a silly, needless risk.

We missed the 12:30AM storms mostly (saw the lightning, missed everything else), but we caught the 2:30AM nothing-but-lightning-within-a-mile-of-the-house storm.....

We have had enough rain for a while. I'm settling in to watch old movies tonight. Screw the rain.

And what's a rain song with Neil Sedaka. Doesn't he look like Jim Neighbors?

OK, it's stopped and now the freaking sun is shinning. Rain and these songs are depressing. I need football... :(

Today was almost perfect (weather-wise, anyway  ) I don't think it quite made it to 80 today. If it did, it wasn't for very long. There was a constant breeze and the humidity was pretty low. YEAH!!!! No heatstrokes!!!
