These have to be radar estimates except for right at the point of the report. The County Garage at Springfield has 15 but I have 17 on my deck in an open area.

Roads were quite driveable out in Gahanna/New Albany along morse/etc... the parking lots, not so much. Made a Chipotle & game (exchange) run earlier this evening with a friend. Thought I took a wrong turn and ended up in the U.P.

Kind of humorous that they struggled to stay ahead of the 4" in a day on friday, but did an admirable job tackling the inch per min on saturday. Must say I do love living in licking county instead of franklin, greatly superior effort on the roads.

Is the county garage some official measurement from the weather peeps?

I have empathy for all of you in Ohio. I had heard that heavy snow was called for, but never in my imagination would I have come up with 20 inches. My younger sisters family went to Fla. this week. They will be in for quite a suprise when they get back to Granville tomorrow night.
Beautiful spring-like day in Mt. today. High of 50. There is supposed to be high pressure on the northern plains for the next week. Hopefully it will head your way.

Yesterday was 65 .. but we probably got 4 ft of rain... you could use a kayak in my backyard... which means it's miserable to let the dogs outside and spend a half hour cleaning the mud off them... especially the big male who's like a child and plays in it...

Not sure I wouldn't prefer 20 inches of snow...

Today is sunny and 44 but we'll see what it does for my backyard... all our rivers are flooded...

Has anyone actually been out on the roads here in Columbus? If so, what, if anything, have the snow plows been able to accomplish?

I had to go to work yesterday. By far the worst road......Bethel Road. It looks like they never even tried to plow it. this was both at 2pm and even worse at 11pm. In most of Hilliard last night coming home the road were not perfect but the snow what flat and you could tell they at least plowed roads like davidson and dublin. Bethel was still deeply snow covered, with a rut going each way to drive in.

I was just out an hour ago and Broad street right around Mt Carmel East is still terrible. I was very surprised considering it's a main road.

its awful hard to plow snow with cars on the roads...

we had a couple of inches or rain earlier in the week. hopefully it is slow thaw or things could be bad, we dont have frost in the ground so it shouldnt stick around long with the march sun...

keep in mind in ohio we have a lot longer watershed run than you guys in nj...

As Jeff Foxworthy said, "You might be from Ah-hi-uh if ... you've had to switch from 'heat' to 'A/C' in the same day."

Gotta love this weather! :)

March 2: nearly 70-degrees, sunny, was outside grilling, shooting hoops, washed the wifes' car, and my son was next door helping the neighbor wash his fishing boat.

March 9: 20" of snow on the ground, outside building snowmen, igloos, and shoveled the driveway TWICE and still haven't found concrete yet.

March 13: Should be about 60 again.

ever plowed snow?
nope. How do they get it done all year long in west MI? If they don't wish to devote the money/time to tackle a problem due to it's infrequency, I guess that's understandable... but the excuses they offer up on the news ring pretty hollow.
