With the exception of a few short heatwaves the last couple 3 summers here have been pretty mild. I hope it continues.
last year was my first full summer here, so I can't really compare it to anything.

I was in this area for about a week and a half in summer of 2017.
high temps ranged from 109° to 114°.

last year we got up to 118° for a couple days, but typically the highest was around 111° with most days being in the 106°-107° area.

There are two massive tornadoes on the ground in Texas and Oklahoma. One is tearing through the suburbs of Dallas and the other is destroying parts of Tulsa's suburbs. They're both PDS tornadoes and one mass casualty event has already been reported with 150 people trapped. Horrible night.

EDIT: There's a third one south of Wichita. They've all been massive, this is fucking insane.
