Same thing over here on the other side of the state. Not as much rain, but gusts 50+ mph for tomorrow. Then we have the "S" word in the forecast later this week.

stay safe buddy … we just went through ours …. I live south of Austin and we had a tornado warning issued … got lucky that it didn’t produce anything….

this was caught live on TV about 30 minutes north of my along I-35 around the same time.

I am in Carrollton, NW suburb of Dallas. Power back. We avoided any significant damage. I won't know for sure until morning when I can walk around the house.

back in 1987 I spent the summer in Witchita Falls, had some pretty gnarly storms pass through. I've been in AZ the last 25 years and we've had some nasty thunderstorms here but only one of two like I saw there

let’s just say it wasn’t the “high end” area of the city that got hit either.
same area took worst of the damage for Katrina.
lot of that area still had tarps over their roofs from Ida.
