In Portland our air quality finally went from "hazardous" to "dangerous" yesterday. Everyone is hoping it is lowered to "unhealthy" tomorrow!Just last week we had snow! Back to normal fall temps(70s) but some smoke from Cali flowing through. Thank God for all the wind that happens here to move it along to Texas! Smoke was so bad at times this summer that we couldn't go outside. High heat and smoke is a very bad combo. Hope everyone in Oregon, Washington and Cali(sister in Sacramento) stay safe.

None of the tree-huggers out west ever wanted any trees cut down now they are stuck in a tinder box.In Portland our air quality finally went from "hazardous" to "dangerous" yesterday. Everyone is hoping it is lowered to "unhealthy" tomorrow!
Yeah...well I can't answer that in this forum but 90% of Oregon's forests were cut and are now more like tree farms than an actual forests.None of the tree-huggers out west ever wanted any trees cut down now they are stuck in a tinder box.
Looks apocalyptic!
We ended up with about 6 inches. Parts of the snow belt have a couple of feet.Forecast is calling for the first real snow here in NE Ohio starting tomorrow night. Last I checked the call is for 6-8 inches of snow. Perfect timing since December starts on Tuesday.
