Just last week we had snow! Back to normal fall temps(70s) but some smoke from Cali flowing through. Thank God for all the wind that happens here to move it along to Texas! Smoke was so bad at times this summer that we couldn't go outside. High heat and smoke is a very bad combo. Hope everyone in Oregon, Washington and Cali(sister in Sacramento) stay safe.

In Portland our air quality finally went from "hazardous" to "dangerous" yesterday. Everyone is hoping it is lowered to "unhealthy" tomorrow!

Gahanna OH, sunny, 75°, SSE 5 mph breeze.

Me and the wife just took a walk in the neighborhood, and all I could think about was: Boy, would this be a great day for a November noon kickoff game in "The Shoe" or what?......:gagnam:

N.W. Ohio. Rain overnight, then a line of borderline severe storms moved through about 11/2 hours ago ( warned severe just to the east) and now dealing with extremely strong winds with gusts up to 60 mph. Lost power about an hour ago and probably won't see it back on for several hours. The wife just asked me " does this mean we have to talk to each other now?"

Forecast is calling for the first real snow here in NE Ohio starting tomorrow night. Last I checked the call is for 6-8 inches of snow. Perfect timing since December starts on Tuesday.
We ended up with about 6 inches. Parts of the snow belt have a couple of feet.

Is it too early to start the spring countdown considering it isn't officially winter yet? Asking for a friend!
