weather.com is lying cuz it said 15.. but I remember COLD Akron weather... and this was the coldest 15 I can remember...

gonna be close to 30 here in Maumee Heaven today and I'm happy. I'll be able to get out of the house for the first time since Tues. Hoping to get to the Legion post today to see some Buds and have some Buds and then go to a benefit dinner for some 46 yr old who died of cancer. (son in law of a good friend)

The exciting resolution to my frozen pipes and life without water, except in gallon jugs poured over my head. . .
The pipes were not frozen.
I serendipitously met my absentee landlord whilst arriving from the groceries.
I followed him into the house, as he somehow didn't understand, and it turned out he had a guy come to fix the furnace in the other side of my duplex and the ass hole idiot shut off the water.
All is okay now.
Given my worries, I'm happy.
The pipes were not frozen.

BTW, my rent is based on I fix everything myself (I got his phone number this time, and permission to break into next door). His whole thing before me here is employing tight ass bitches from his church to fuck everyone over, hence the deal, as he can't do anything properly.

I have water. Pipes are fine.
My landlord had someone come to *fix* the furnace in the neighboring place, and the guy shut off the water not knowing it provided me water too.

Ice storm overnight. .25" of ice covering everything. Normal 30 min. drive to work took over an hour.
My storm door was frozen shut, so had to leave to main door open for half an hour to get the storm door thawed before I could even start trying to get my truck thawed out.

About 4”-6” of ice/snow overnight. Up at 5:30 am to blow out drive and shared lane (supposed to be neighbors job since he owns it, but I don’t have time to wait for him). Normal 1.5 hour drive to client site takes almost 3 hours. Fun times....
