Being confined indoors is a lot easier to take as long as the moonshine and beer lasts...just sayin!
That's what got the guy in the trailer. Take this cold seriously.

If it gets down to -40 (maybe you can try from -20), try to split wood with an axe. It shatters like glass and sounds like it. Either side of the axe works!

Currently 82F by the pool here. Thinking about you folks. This sunburn thing is a misery.

Looking at like a 70-degree swing in three days here in Chicago. -25 this morning and should be up to +45 on Saturday.

As I was thinking about that, the ground's frozen and there's going to be a crap ton of snow melt very quickly... should be for good times.

My pipes are frozen. Rather, the other side of my duplex, which is unoccupied and has the shut off valve, has frozen pipes as obviously there is no heat on.

I am very afraid of a burst pipe. . . and I have no information on my landlord (it's a weird story).

So. . . I just bought eight gallons of water for some damn personal hygiene, and will probably need more because I like flushing my shits. It will thaw tomorrow and Sunday for sure, but to what end?

I have been making attempts to break into my vacant duplex co-duplexer. Next angle of attack: the crawl space in the basement and an axe. My absent landlord would never realize anyway.
