Well, it could be worse. It's going to be 113F in Sydney Australia tomorrow. It'll be 93F the next three days here in South Africa. Bit hot for cycling no?

Be careful, often you can do more harm than good by clearing your roof. Ive seen lots of leaks created by shoveling. I wouldn't be concerned unless I had several feet of wet snow on mine-unless you have a very flat roof, that is.Looking at getting a roof rake to get the snow off of some of my roof. It's a good foot deep...
Yeah, don't they still have a lot of houses in the south that were not built with a furnace? I've had trouble getting the temp right here in Ohio with a gas furnace, a space heater, and occasionally, the oven. brrrrr
Thanks for the advice. We have a good pitch so it should clear on its own if we get some warm weather. I do need to break some ice back.Be careful, often you can do more harm than good by clearing your roof. Ive seen lots of leaks created by shoveling. It's gonna snow...maybe....kinda...sorta....probably....
Up here in the NW corner we've been getting the same changing forecasts for the storm on Fri/Sat.Must get your weather forecasts from the same place I do.
Yesterday, they had a notice that this weekend we were getting 6-10 inches. This morning, there was ZERO mention of any precipitation in the next couple of days, maybe flurries. It's 53F here, with a high of 46F Friday, but now there's a note on the page again saying from Friday afternoon to evening it's 6-10 inches.
Believe it when I see it. Which, btw, looks like yet again if it does snow, and I happen to like to watch big, dramatic snowfalls, it's going to take place overnight. What is it about Central Ohio that, more often than not, we get most of our snow at night?

Last night they were calling for 10+ inches, now they say the storm will move slightly farther East, with the heaviest snow along a Cleve/Cbus line. BUT WAIT!! That might change with the late evening computer models!
Regardless, it sounds like alot of freezing rain, sleet and ice most of the morning on Friday. Yippie! I have a 30 mile drive to work, mostly on back roads!
