That's funny, hotter in Chicago than Phoenix by 15 degrees in march.
This heat sucks, we've had 8 days in a row of record high temps. The previous record high yesterday was 76 and we hit 85 - that's 37 degrees above normal and we're supposed to top out at 85 again today.

I know, funky weather pattern. You should check out the jet stream, I've never seen nothing like it.

We were lucky to fly out of Dallas on Mon night, the storm raced in from the west then just squatted there like a backwards waterfall. Many of the other planes didn't get out, we were lucky to be only 2.5 hours behind.

Dumping about 15 inches on West Louisiana last night. Coming this way, but calming down and won't be as wet.

rain. lots and lots of rain.

we didn't get it as bad as places west of here, but we've had a steady rainfall since early yesterday.

only a couple of squalls with lots of wind and really hard rainfall.
but for the most part just a steady rain with a few breaks here and there.
