I have some set aside for you.
They're still soaking in a special marinade I use only for fans of conference rivals.

I thought shrimp started to decompose super quickly? I watched an Alton Brown show describing the whole thing, and how unless shrimp is immediately fresh the frozen ones are actually better, unlike most meats. True?

The best thing about that show was learning to brine my shrimp before eating. Oh nom nom nom.

I got up early and went hiking on a desert trail while the sun rose wearing my shorts and tank top in the 65 degree morning. Hiked around for another hour and a half enjoying the sunshine and the warmth of the rising sun. Went for some breakfast afterward and now I'm back home with the back door and windows open listening to the birds sing. Expected high today is 93.

you can keep them in an ice chest on ice for a few days before they go bad.
just gotta keep them iced down really good, and make sure you constantly drain the water.

I plan on boiling some tonight, and gonna freeze the rest.

"44 degrees, rain and windy."

Yep, football weather here too. Now all we need is for Bowie Kuhn to reappear at the World Series in his short sleeve shirt, thinking he's Woody.

Anyone else here old enough to remember when your 5th grade teacher would bribe you -- "if everyone in the class behaves and gets their math assignment done, I'll turn on the radio/TV and we'll listen/watch the World series."

We got about a foot of snow last night. Got around 10 inches last Wednesday, but it mostly melted before Halloween.

So, nearly 2 feet of snow on the season, and it's not even Nov. 3rd.
That's Colorado for you, 0 degrees and a foot of snow one day and then a few days later you're playing golf.
