Here in Fort Collins the weather is set to be -1 for the high Tuesday and the low is -19. 3-6 inches of snow tomorrow.

10 below zero right now in central Montana. I think that is supposed to be close to our high for Mon., with a low of -20 or worse for tomorrow night. I will keep the stove cranking. I know the mid-west and east have had their share of true winter this year as well.

For the first time sice we began keeping a flock, I'll be putting my chickens in the garage tonight through Thursday with a heater. 10+ below is too cold in their unheated coop. Besides, one of our hens is molting right now and only has ~1/2 her feathers. :(

A heat lamp or two in their coop will work just as well! Just picked up two at Jax for a total of $35. Better than filling your garage with chicken crap!

nice little 4 stroke sled. its amazing what they have done with the technology over the last few years, went from big heavy things to relatively quick/peppy and fun to ride. i still have a 2 stroke sled, but when i get a new sled, ill look long and hard at a 4 stroke...
