Haven't seen anything all that negative... realistic expectations. If you expect National Championships every season, you must have a rough life.:wink2:
No I don't expect a NC every year but i also don't count a game as lost until we lose it. The naysayers also said we wouldn't have a good D this year too. :tongue2:

Man I hate defeatist attitudes. What's with the negative vibes??
As if any of our attitudes will effect the outcome of the season. As far as I know, none of the coaches or players post here...

I'm just being realistic when I say that we've got a lot of work to do this coming season. As proven by the last two games, our defense was not as good as we once thought. Moreover, with the outflux of talent on offense, we'll certainly have some work to do.

I expect to see a return to the running game and short-intermediate passing. The defense should be stout. The OOC schedule is soft, and it's a good year for it. I forsee a 2-loss, with a higher chance of 3-loss than 1-loss. Next year should be a rebuilding year for 2008, where I think we should be lined up for another NC run.

Do you know the recruits? Have a little faith!!!
Don't forget Woody's saying "There's nothing that cleanses your soul like getting the hell kicked out of you."
Well we should be squeaky clean to start 2007!!!!
:oh: :io: ALL THE WAY!!!!!

I wouldn't overlook Illinois even with their horrible finish in the big ten last year. They have some good talent coming in this year and with another year under William's belt this team will be scary in the big ten. I think they will make a lot of noise in the big ten and finish in the top 3. Although they might be one year away. With guys like Flowers, Brent, WIlson, Benn and possibly Hughes, they will be tough.
