How Old Were You When You Moved Out?

Moved out at 18 to go to OSU, went back home for half my junior year since I was studying abroad that spring, lived in UA with friends until graduation, moved back after a year as a poor GA left me way in debt, saved up for a couple years and got my own house last summer (hopefully that's the end of it, but I do still have a room at my parents').

After college I had a difficult time finding a good job. I moved to Delaware, got a job with a large bank, and lived with my dad. He was single at the time, and had a 3,000 square foot house. He enjoyed the company, and we played golf and we often went to sports events and movies. I used the money I saved to pay for frequent flights back to Ohio to visit my wife at college, or to fly her out to visit me.

Then, after my wife graduated, she also got a job at the bank, and moved in with us. We lived there for another 5-6 months, saved up some money, and bought our first house, a month before our wedding. I was 25 at the time, and that was 7.5 years ago.
