Sep 01 vs. Alabama (in Arlington, TX) -- They get absolutely killed. It may not be a huge margin score-wise, but the game won't even be close, much like the Alabama-PSU games of the last two years.

The talent/coaching gap between the um and the domers hasn't been wider since 06. Solid UM win.
Anything can happen on a given Saturday, but.........
I agree with all the rest, so I see no worse than 4 losses for the regular season, an outside shot at going into The Game undefeated but probably going in at 9-2.

ORD_Buckeye;2200148; said:33% if Robinson stays healthy. That, however, is a huge stretch. He's proven himself fragile in the past, so I say a 1 in 5 shot.

ORD_Buckeye;2200133; said:One thing to consider it that our division is a joke this year because of the Ohio State and Penn State situations. That, however, doesn't mean Wiscy is going to suck and is perfectly capable of derailing Michigan should they meet up in the CCG.

A narrow embarrassing victory by Bama followed by a plunger raping of ND and three to four loss big ten season would be an acceptable compromise.

Bama: The game, IMO, won't be as close as the scoreboard will reflect. They will give it hell but Bama is just a much better coached team when it comes to big games. They fall by at least a 10 points in this one.
@ ND: IMO the Domers aren't a legit contender for the championship this year. However, don't think you easily waltz into their house and expect to get a dubya. The story line will be built up about TTUN is ready to avenge their opening loss and how the Domers are ready to get back to the big stage. ND gets this one in a close, low scoring fight.
@ Nebraska: TTUN will falter somewhere in the Big Ten. Nebraska is scrappy and will fight until the end. It will be a cold day in late October, on the road. The helmet hit will sting, and I don't see much of D-Rob dancing around in this one, he will be forced to use his arm.
Yes, BUT, the defense should be considerably improved this year. Wisconsin might have the the best linebacker corps in the conference, and the secondary is experienced if nothing else. The d-line is a little short on depth, which will be an area of concern. But compared to last year, when the defense bled like a sieve (and cost Wisconsin games in East Lansing and Columbus), there should be an improvement.jwinslow;2200152; said:The problem is that Wisconsin hasn't played defense in years and Denard can compete in a shootout.
