How long is your lunch "hour"?

As long as I want - but usually 30-40 minutes.

However long I so choose. I went to see Star Wars Episode 3 during the middle of my work day last spring. As long as it looks like I put in 40 hours a week I'm ok.

I did the same last year. Did you go by yourself as well? Hate going to the movies with people when it's something I really want to see.

As for lunch I can come and go as I please, but I usually don't take one since I tend to leave work for the day at about 4 or so. Short day when you get in at about 10. /shrug

Yep, by myself. I'm in the same boat with movies that I really want to see. I was fine until a smelly guy with dreds set down in front of me. He reeked of smoke. My boss took all the guys in the office to see Aeon Flux back in Dec so it's a pretty easy going atmosphere here.

as a salary employee legally speaking i don't get a lunch. if im on call (currently am) i dont' leave for lunch and just eat while i work. the rest of the time i try to take less than 1 1/2 hours.

40 minutes is plenty of time...I like to get home at a decent hour.

My work day is 8 hours plus lunch: I just eat something real quick at my desk (or just snack all day), so I can get out of here as early as possible.

I just snack at my desk. Every now and then, maybe once every 3 months, I'll meet my father at Skyline for lunch, then I'll take an hour to an hour-and-a-half.

I get a 1/2 hour...it sucks because I'm on the busyiest lunch and sometimes I end up with only 15 mins. to eat. :(

I don't have a fixed time... I usually eat subway at my desk or am out with clients... if it's real busy I skip lunch altogether...
