ugh, I gotta find a real job so I can the crap out of here, we got a new manager at the club at the beginning of the year, and she's currently getting her masters, so she's all gun ho on things, and she micromanages everything..

anyways, we got an email from her today about how she's gonna start giving us these assignments for "professional growth"

1) this is a $10/hr job at a tennis resort at a tennis desk not some business center
2) 3 of the 4 people who work at the club desk are in there 40s-50s, they don't give a crap about professional growth and are working here as they are retired from what they did years ago
3) I'm a fuckin temp, hire me a full time with benefits or GTFO

talked to one of the ladies today about the email and such, and she just rolled her eyes :lol:

she was thinking exactly what I was thinking how our manager since she has taken over since the new year has just not made this place any fun to work at anymore, and for what she has us doing isn't suitable for what we're gettin paid for

I wouldn't know - I haven't been there since last Wednesday, I don't have to go in tomorrow and am only going in on Wednesday this week because I have a project that I have implemented that needs to be turned over. After that, I'm off until Sunday again.

Start back up at Orange Leaf (frozen yogurt shop) in Pickerington tonight. I need the money. Also starting my internship at IMG for Ohio State tomorrow. I'm really nervous for all of it..One step closer to the real world and I'm not that excited for it.

I've had better days. with the tornadoes ripping through OKC, we've had to both cover their responsibilities (not a big deal), but then initiate a recall of all of our people. All of these fast busys due to the cell towers getting hammered haven't been very positive.

Thankfully the elementary school and day care that got crushed are reporting all kids accounted for. at least 3 fatalities, two of which were little kids. If you pray, please pray for these people and anyone else affected by these storms and if you don't good thoughts too please.
