Hoping the edges of Beryl keep pounding the parks area, because that makes my day a hell of a lot easier (and boring, but still). The only downside would be the end of the fiscal month when I get called in on my days off to help catch up the massive backlog that would happen. One park was already almost 10 hours behind for today as of yesterday afternoon, and the other three parks were at least 2 hours behind. If we had anyone call in today...oh well, more overtime and more $$$$!

It was a real shit show. I have over 20 graded assignments posted online for parents to see-along with every homework assignment and its status (completed, missing, et cetera) and somehow it's a shock to these people that their 17 year old children are failing?

I had a mom tell me that I did not call home, even though I document every e mail or phone call-I called twice. Apparently it's more believable that I'm a liar than to believe that Junior deletes messages before mom gets home...

Yesterday was not a good day. We had a major presentation where the CEO, Founder and VP of Sales were here to meet with a major player and close a deal. Without going into great detail, some slimy back room politics got played by a detractor of ours and it shutdown the whole presentation. I was thoroughly embarrassed by a number of high level individuals who were supposedly in our corner that sat idly by or who did not show up for the presentation.

The stench of yesterday's outcome and leadership void reminded me of why we are where we are today with the politicos of this country. I am guessing some heads may roll soon....
