Got a call back from a job I applied for, but the hourly expectations are way above what I expected. I was only expecting three days of availability but they evidently want 40 hrs. for 6 months so now I need to figure out if I can go down to two days with my current job, if I can handle 7 day weeks for 6 months and how often I can give up shifts for my current job to have a day or two off every now and then. I could really use 6 months of that pay (at least $5 more/hr than I currently make). Ugh. Stress time!
Yeah making good money is fun, but having no time off really gets to you after a while.
Shit, before I had a kid, I'd work 90 hr weeks constantly and still had me time, which means i had bar time. When I worked a schedule like that in Iraq it wasn't horri b le but it was pre-kid and it's not like there eas much else to do.
I just ended a 3 month stretch of no less than 5 - 10 hour shifts but more often 6 and a few times 7, on mids no less. Not fun at all indeed.

Waiting in the HR lobby and a guy walks in carrying a baby and sits down in the lobby as the baby starts to cry. Why!?
I know, I don't know the situation, but come on! The guy is waiting for his wife/gf because she came out real quick, but still...why?
Chin up, I have been looking for over a year...it will happen or you..Welp just got confirmation I didn't get a 2nd interview.. Ugh.. Pretty upset
