How Do You Rank Your Ohio State Rooting Interests

all sports, not just osu sports:

college football / college basketball

don't follow anything else. will catch an nfl game here, an nba game there, or sometimes a golf tournament. don't "follow" them, though, or care about any team/player. the only real interest i have in pro sports is when a buckeye is playing.

as far as the order of college football and basketball goes, i like both for different reasons and have a hard time placing one over the other. the pageantry, importance, anticipation, excitement, and collective fan environment of college football are superior. however, i find college basketball more enjoyable overall because the season doesn't pose the threat of more or less being over in the first month, because i feel less bad following a loss, because there are college games every single night, because ohio state plays about two games each week, because i think i understand the game a little more than i understand football, and because march madness (especially the first weekend) is by far the best event in all of sports.

When I was young I was more into pro sports but that's changed in the 21st century. I can barely watch the NBA and the NFL is more interesting for fantasy sports purposes. Still love MLB, but hate my team.

OSU related? EVERYTHING! I drank the Kool Aid my years in C-bus, but if I had to rank them:

football
basketball
hockey
lacrosse

Those would all be men's sports. I'd be lying if I said I found the women's versions as interesting, despite the obvious talent of our female athletes. If I had BTN I'm sure I'd follow baseball as well.
