I use a Denon receiver.. I built the room about 4 years ago after my wife dragged me to a "Parade of Homes" show where everyone had one and I thought... "I could do that!" I have 5.1 speaker setup although the receiver will drive 7.1

Regular TV looks like crap blown up that big, but HDTV and DVD looks pretty sweet.

I just got a 32" crt for $250 for the living room. My buddy has a 50" plasma with HD and everything so I watch all the important games over there. I purposely got a regular tv so that I wouldn't have to worry about HD or anything yet since we don't have the money for it right now. We'll probably end up getting a 47-60" HDTV in the future. My goal is to have a home theater at some point.
