From the article:

His voice rising to a shout, Saban pointed to how little the officials make for the trouble, saying, "If I was an official, and I was making what I made officiating because I love the game and I love doing it, and I was getting criticized by the media - including our announcers on TV -- like these guys are getting criticized, I'd step back and say, 'I think I'll go to the lake this weekend. You can have this.' That's what I'd do."

Hey!! Nicky-boy!! Yeah you! Not everybody has the millions in the bank that you enjoy after fucking over people to say "fuck this, I am going fishing" you elitist prick. Maybe these guys should man the fuck up and do their fucking job, eh? What about that? Maybe, just MAYBE, you sound like a complete douche defending the BAD CALLS that helped your team win, eh?

Sorry, can't really stand Saban and his fucking pie hole. When he speaks he is either whining or lying. Douche.

just realized something.

spread was 7.5 in this game.

if the int is called correctly, LSU gets the ball with 5-6 minutes left.
chances are, they'll at least move the ball a little bit, which will eat up some of the clock.
even if they don't score, clock is probably somewhere around 2 minutes, maybe less.
Bama probably just sits on it to ice the win.
Game ends with Bama up 6

no int = Bama covered spread
with int = Bama don't cover
anyone want to guess at how much money was won or loss due to that call?

Who said those calls going UF's way wasn't malice though?

Again, shout conspiracy, conspiracy... but I'm just saying.

Posted that 10/25 after the UF/Ole Miss game.

Seriously, the officiating is beyond subtle at this point. I mean, your telling me its not in the SEC best interest's of having a (potential) #1 v #2 rematch in the SECCG? That CBS wouldn't just love to have those types of ratings for a hyped game.

Please... I was merely joking at first, now, sorry - this whole things reeks of being fixed.

Not to take away from SEC's dominance of bad officiating (:p) but let's not forget the calls in the Michigan Purdue game....

First, the kick catch interference when Michigan guy tripped over his own feet and muffed a punt (Purdue recovered on the UM 40 or so)

Or the forward lateral while out of bounds (which, thankfully, the review booth corrected).

these are pretty much my feelings.
for years, it was just "well if a call is close, it's going Bama's way" and "bad calls happen, not much you can do about it"

now, it's more like "we're fucked if this game is close enough for the refs to make a difference in the 4th qtr" or "there is no way in hell that was simply a blown call"

Well there were rumbles in this past off-season and early on this season about St. Tebow and his team getting favorable calls.

Makes you wonder huh?

That's the thing, neither are in a spot for large TV ratings or a Big10 championship at this point. While their have been a few spotty calls this year (I still feel bad for Coleman, that WAS a forced fumble) it hasn't been near the level of SEC bad with multiple crews.

Compile that with the fact that the booth made the correct call in the Purdue-scUM game yet the SEC booth must have cataracts as thick as nickles to not rule that an interception.

Its bullshit, all of it. Regardless of conference, poor officiating is poor officiating, it leaves a mark on the rest of the country.

Lets not forget Donovan Warren's "interception" to seal um's glorious come from behind win versus, um, Indiana...or the myriad calls that went in Iowa's favor against, um, Indiana.

Yep. Saint Tebow is getting his chance at a 3rd national Title.

There were plenty of bad calls in the LSU, BAMA game I wish they could do a beter job. Even though the ending was what I wanted it would have been better if there was no controversy

you're the 1st Bama poster I've seen acknowledge this.

we even had one show up on our board with some weak rulebook explanation as to why that wasn't an interception.

we may not have won the game anyway, but the fans were robbed of what could have been a great finish.
