I think the coaches figure more people will come later in the day, instead of early in the morning. Like I said, its not required, its summer time, and alot of people I know sleep in all day. I think if it was earlier, very few would actually show up.

Teddy, is your team any good at all? With coaches being that lax, I can't see how you could be.

I work with one of Minster's assistant coaches and they had their conditioning sessions at 5:30 a.m. this year. (It keeps guys from staying out all night, and gets it over with so the rest of the day is open for golfing, family time, etc.) The sessions were "voluntary" in that the coaches could not require players to attend. However, anyone missing the sessions will be made to run extra once the mandatory practices started and will have a tough time seeing the field come game time.

We've made the playoffs every year from 1999-2005, except for 2004(We went 9-1). Can't speak for Minster, how many times have they made it in the last 5-10 years?
