High School Hilliard Davidson Wildcats

I'm glad you've seen the light. Davidson had a good squad this year. I had seen it in them all year. They lose a lot of senior leadership though. I hope the younger guys step up.

Well played, Cody, Christen, and crew.

Go 'Cats

Danny Hall, and Andy Sena were men on a mission on Saturday! Too bad it ended this week.

They get Delande back next year, and they return some good talent on the lines. But the Defense will have to reload if they want to compete next year. We lose our entire secondary and 2 of the 3 Linebackers.

FWIW, Davidson would have gone for 2. They voted to do that at the beginning of the year.

Wow..I posted on another message board when they were driving asking whether or not they'd go for 2. Earlier in the game, I would have, but when they had moved the ball well on X's D the last 2 posessions and shut out offense down, I would've thought they would take the EP and take it to OT.

Hilliard Davidson's Head Coach Brian White has been named Div1 Coach of the Year. Despite missing 3 games due to injury, RB Christen Haywood was named second team all state. Other Cats making first team all state were Drew Larger, Andy Senna and Danny Hall.

Yet another compliment to the Cats, St. X did not suffer in the national polls following the scare they received from the Davidson, despite the fact the Cats dominated 8 different statistical catergories in the game, including total yards, rushing yards, passing yards and third down conversion percentage.

Hey, NTD: I go to Ohio University now and have heard rumors about Georgie Carpenter commiting to Ohio. Any truth to this?

BTW, thanks for the kind words about davidson. I know the road to the final four is much easier than it was going into last week.

Good luck next season Golden Gales!!
